Turn After-Sales Feedback Into Your Next Ball Screw RFQ

Keep problem photos, order records, installation direction, lubrication, runtime, and inspection data for the next RFQ.

Feedback has to match an order record

Ball screw after sales feedback should first be matched to the order record, model, drawing revision, quantity and shipment batch. Without the order record it is hard to say whether the problem came from specification, installation, transport or use conditions.

The order number is the single most useful item: with it, the shipment record, the drawing revision in force at the time and the inspection data can all be retrieved. Without it, the diagnosis starts from photos and guesses.

Problem photos have to show the state

Problem photos should include the whole part, the damage position, the nut, both ends, packing condition, installation position and machine environment. A close-up of one scratch, or a single angle, is usually not enough to identify a cause.

To test whether a photo is useful, ask: from this photo alone, can I tell whether the mark came from manufacturing or from use? If not, take another with the surrounding environment in frame.

Installation direction and lubrication matter

Installation direction, alignment, support unit condition, coupling connection, lubrication method, lubrication interval and dust protection all affect screw life. The feedback should state the running time and running frequency.

The failure time is one diagnostic input and cannot establish cause on its own: read it together with the wear pattern, lubrication records, actual load, installation checks (alignment, preload, coupling eccentricity) and the original inspection record. Writing the hours down speeds the search up, but hours alone cannot separate specification, installation, transport or use conditions.

Use the inspection record to improve the RFQ

If there is an inspection record, re-measured dimensions, a clearance change or a noise video on site, include it in the next RFQ. That is how packing, preload, accuracy, end machining or lubrication requirements get written down early. For the complete custom RFQ list, see what information is needed for a custom ball screw RFQ.

Follow-up checklist

  • After sales feedback: problem photos, video, model, order record, batch, and drawing revision.
  • Installation direction, support unit, nut direction, lubrication method, running time, and load condition.
  • Inspection record, shipment photos, packing condition, and receiving notes.
  • Improvement request for the next RFQ, including drawing, packing, inspection, or application notes.

Send us the feedback record

Send weimute the after sales feedback with problem photos, order record, installation direction, lubrication, and running time. Our manufacturing and sales team can review the issue and convert confirmed improvements into the next RFQ record.

FAQ

Why include running time? The failure time is one diagnostic input: it has to be read together with the wear pattern, lubrication records, load and installation checks to narrow the search. Hours alone cannot establish cause or responsibility.

Can feedback improve future orders? Yes. Clear inspection record and application details help improve RFQ scope, packing, and confirmation steps. See what information is needed for a custom ball screw RFQ.

What if there is no order number? Trace it back from the model, batch or marking text, and add the shipment date and photos. If it cannot be traced, re-confirm the specification for the new application.

Turn this guide into an RFQ

When the specification direction is clear, send the details below together with quantity, lead time, and packing requirements.

Include these details

  • Model, length, quantity, purchase purpose, and target lead time.
  • Drawing, sample photos, application parameters, or old-part dimensions.
  • Packing, label, inspection, and quotation version to confirm before payment.
